“Owner is so lovely and very helpful, almost like a personal tour guide for us with plenty of suggestions for things for us to see and do. Very friendly!! Breakfast was beautiful! Room was clean, walking distance to beaches shops and restaurants. I’d stay again if visiting ilfracombe again. ”

“I booked online and then researched the Holiday Park after (slightly backwards way of doing it) but I’m glad I didn’t take all the reviews too seriously, I’ve stayed in far worse hotels than this. Obviously late December is definitely not peak season either but still enough people about. The kids loved the pool and there was an on duty life guard and cafe. Our apartment was nice too. If I could give 1 bit of feedback it’s that the changing room for the pool is an open 1 room which the boys……

“We got there for 4:45pm and our room wasn’t ready, apparently, apparently check in is “from” 4 and doesn’t mean it will be ready at 4 ???? This is the second time we have stayed, we previously stayed when it was under a different name, there has been lots of improvements though and you can see they are trying to make it better. We only used it as a 1 night base because we had plans for days either side, was perfect just for a 1 night stay asking as you prepare your self for no thrills. Kids……

“The booking on hotels.com stated that the property was pet friendly and dogs stay free. When the booking was confirmed, we were told that pets were £35 per pet and not as advertised. Avoid if you have pets.”

“Enjoyable stay at a great location, friendly service and really comfortable modern room - not too hot unlike many hotels. The pub food is good quality too.”
