“I was there for only 1 night. Everyone working there was really nice. The room had mix of updates and vintage touches that I really liked. There was a table with 2 chairs for eating or working. The wifi was excellent for a Zoom call that I had in the evening. I appreciated the option of opening a screened window for fresh air. ”

“I have stayed at the Fireside multiple times and I am never disappointed. The rooms are updated and clean. Having a private balcony that showcases the gorgeous view is my favorite feature, and it’s what keeps me coming back. The location is convenient to Belfast and other towns, but removed enough to feel peaceful. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. This place is truly a gem! ”

“The hotel is located inside the University of Maine campus, which is quiet, safe, and has convenient parking. The rooms seem to be converted from student dormitories, so the layout is different from typical hotels. The bathroom in my room was exceptionally large, almost at a luxury mansion level, and the bed was also big. The room was clean with high ceilings, but there was no desk available for use, which was somewhat inconvenient.”
