“Had a really nice time here... the property is wonderful.. newly refurbished it seemed to a high standard (my wife was impressed with the Elemis products !) . Spotlessly clean. Service was good, and the lounge area, conservatory and garden all add to the extra space.Service was friendly and efficient and a good breakfast. Location quiet and very near the sea. “Lovely stay for a military ball at the camp in Blandford. Wonderful staff and couldn’t do more for us during our visit. Great nights sleep! ”

“Such a beautiful historical hotel,went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.The room was decorated for us.Such a lovely surprise.Balcony view was spectacular on the harbour.Outdoor pool and spa area lead to the beautiful beach.Staff so friendly.Food was top notch too.Loved it that much ,stayed over longer .”

“A lovely old inn, upgraded and updated to offer all of the contemporary comforts one might want, including free WiFi /Internet. The room was medium size, with a queen /double bed and wonderfully illuminated bb its skylight. The bed and bed linens were outstanding; couldn’t be better. The pub & restaurant were as charmingly English as a Yank could want and the food was very good. I would return in a heartbeat, given the opportunity, and recommend it to any single or couple. “We based ourselves here for a long weekend to visit some places in the New Forest, we found it a pleasant and comfortable hotel, ideally placed for our requirements with lovely views and nice staff. “Staff are worth their weight in gold and the Canford boasts some heavy weights. Take a walk along the nearby promenade and take in the surrounding area and its wealthy residents. Food at breakfast and dinner was superb. This establishment like so many other places is a dog friendly hotel and bar. On a damp day, your nose will remind you. I tried to plug in my firestick at the back of the telly but was put off by the avalanche of dust. Bathroom window is losing the fight against the ivy growing……
