“Stayed for a long weekend. Close to many great attractions in Colorado Springs area, and just a short drive to Manitou. Perfect amount of space for two people. It’s a bit closer to the other buildings than it looks in the listing photos, but it’s a very quiet area and the neighborhood is nicely tucked back into the woods while still being right by the highway to get to where you want to go. There is an amazing view of the mountains through the upstairs skylight and the little stream running……

“The host puts a lot of work into keeping this place clean and hospitable. She provided snacks, laundry detergent, shampoo body wash and some drinks. The only thing worth noting is that this is a room built into the back of the host’s home and you can hear their tv through the wall. This wasn’t a huge problem to us but it wasn’t clearly detailed in the listing and it may be a deal breaker to others. ”

“Overall great place for 2 people and the location was great as well. The hosts were great and easy to talk to if you needed to. It was clean and had a fire pit out back. The sofa is pretty uncomfortable I will say and the tv is slow but otherwise it was great. I’d say here again. ”

“I am a local and my girlfriend was visiting from Southern CA for my college graduation. We stayed here for the weekend and absolutely loved it! The property is perfect for a couple to share a relaxing weekend getaway in with easy access to great food and parks within walking distance. ”

“Nettie and Cam were wonderful hosts! This place is the perfect getaway. They have thought of EVERYTHING. So clean, and they have everything you need. Hot tub out in nature, what more could you ask for?? It was perfect, and we will be back no doubt! ”

“This little house was even better than I expected. It was clean, the kitchen stocked with everything I needed along with a few extra goodies. The neighborhood was quiet and safe (I was a woman traveling alone, so I appreciated this!) There is a lovely outdoor spot in the backyard. The bed was comfy, and location was within walking distance to all the activity of downtown. Food and coffee close by. This place made my stay even better than it would have been otherwise. I would stay here again!……
