“This is a really nice old fashioned pub style accomodation but has a really good chef and therefore very good food. Slightly above the average price but well worth it. However there are other local options for dining. The room overlooked the bay and you could see surfers in the distance along with the small harbour. The famous Lynton to Lynmouth railway is just round the corner and well worth a trip for the spectacular views. Will definitely go back at some point.”

“Lovely place and surroundings with very friendly staff. The garden studio was lovely. The only couple of negative points I had were: the blinds and window areas were very dirty with cobwebs in the window area near the bed, so I didn't open the windows. The room smelt like dogs in places. I'm aware pets are allowed but I thought a thorough clean would take place before the next guest. It wasn't great for my asthma symptoms. Apart from this, it was all fine :-)”

“Very nice hotel run by nice people. The bed and the room (we had a suite) was a little small, but we got used to it. We had our own parking which was very convenient. Breakfast was well prepared and good service.”

“We loved our stay, our room had a stunning view, we were lucky to see the most beautiful sunrise and sunset colours over the hills and sea from our window. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is pet friendly and welcoming for dogs which was a huge plus for us. The location is good as you can walk to Lynmouth or the Valley of rocks, and it’s close to restaurants and shops. There was just a bit of an odd smell coming from the……

“Amazing b&b, the room was lovely and big, everything you could need was available to just grab. Loved the packed to go breakfast, especially the fact the hot food was farm fresh. Our daughter particularly enjoyed seeing the animals around the farm. We will definitely stay again, a big thanks to the owners”
