“Amazing property, beautifully styled. It felt very welcoming and there were lots of extra little touches that made the stay more special. The breakfast basket was awesome!! Highly recommend the Old Mill Pub too, which is within walking distance. Thank you for a great stay. ”
“The room is comfortable and perfect for one person. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station. However, a downside is the lack of a lift to the room, so light luggage is recommended. It would also be an improvement to have a desk and chair in the room.”
“Great value for money, clean and tidy. Staff are friendly, beds are comfy and the facilities outdoors are brilliant. WIFI is super good unlike most free WIFI at hotels. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.”
“We really enjoyed our stay at the Legacy Rose and Crown. The hotel staff at the front desk were really pleasant and helpful. Dinner was delicious with a lovely view of the river at sunset. Breakfast was quite good, with both hot and cold options, however the coffee could have been hotter. The location is a short, pretty walk from Salisbury Cathedral. ”
“Attic room, was nice, however not so great if you are tall. Even at 5ft 8, and partner 6ft 3 spent alot of time bent over avoiding hitting our heads.
Bath was spectacular!
Room was warm, and restrictors on the windows, so unable to get any air flow.
Bed very comfy!
Cafetiere and Illy coffee was a lovely touch
Was a bit disappointed breakfast was included, but had to.pay extra £4 each for a full english. Food was good though.
Staff super lovely.”
“Such a lovely place, right in front of the cathedral. The staff was very nice and the accommodations were amazing especially considering the price.
Couldn’t recommend more!”
“Lovely stay at the Barns. No hesitation in giving straight 5stars throughout. Dick and his staff made this a lovely stay and the breakfast was fabulous. ”
“Loved our stay at Leigh Park Country House. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend and stay again.”
“Tucked away in a picturesque English village of Milktown (Meksham) this hotel offers a truly memorable stay that blends comfort, character, and convenience. The rooms are cozy and well-appointed, with just the right balance of modern amenities and traditional charm. Room 6 was very quiet.
One of the standout features is the on-site restaurant and pub—a real gem. The menu offers hearty, beautifully prepared meals using local ingredients, and the pub atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for……
“I had a good night's sleep, although I did request 2 single beds for myself and my daughter, but arrived to a king size bed. I was concerned about the noise that the neighbours were making when they returned to their room, as they must have opened and closed their door around 10 times for some reason.”
“We stayed at Beechfield House Hotel from 21st May to 24th May 2025 and had a wonderful relaxing break.
Our room was beautiful, featuring French doors and a balcony with stunning views over the pool and gardens - the perfect spot to unwind.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and well cared for. A special mention goes to Elaine, whose warmth and friendliness made us feel more like old friends than guests.
We were lucky with the weather and took full advantage of the……
