“We came for the natural swimming pool and hot tub and it did not disappoint! The hosts Brendan and Edwina were just amazing and welcoming. We were greeted and given the tour of the home, settled in and spent three amazing days by the pool relaxing in the sun. The pool is just incredible as is the entire property. “We all had a lovely time. The property really is amazing. All was good apart from we were surprised there wasn't a BBQ (we didn't check before we took our meat up there with us!) and the bedrooms upstairs were very hot (it was 38' while we were there) and the beds in the bunkbed room were not comfortable - but all the others were great. “Perfect location, very near to all amenities. Within walking distance of Yarra river. Many good reataurants nearby. Alan was very responsvie to all the queries.Nice appartment. Clean within standards.”

“Stayed there because our daughter was getting married in a Yarra Valley vineyard. Close to Healsville. Very quiet location. House compact. New bathrooms, very clean. Great shops in Healsville. Abundant bird life. Lovely trees, especially the maple & rhododendrons. Underfloor heating was great, as it was very cold at night & mornings. ”

It was notionally clean until you look a bit closer…the beds looked like someone slept in them already, furniture was damaged, there’s no table tennis table, the outdoor furniture was filthy, the pool had glass on the paving around it. It was gross. We stayed one night until we could find another place (as Stayz never contacted me to find an alternative place). ”

“We loved the house, but noticed in other reviews just minor things that could be better including sliding door is very hard to close and lock. Dog hair on outdoor furniture. Backyard garden was very overgrown and in need of maintenance. We had to duck under small trees to walk on the path and the grass needed whipper snippering. The master bed was incredibly comfortable but the leather fabric was flaking on the bed and it’s well passed it’s used by date. ”

“A fabulous property! Location was great with hidden cafes, parks and Lygon Street a short walk away. The beds were all super comfortable and pantry stocked with little bits of pieces. Stunning courtyard out the back! ”

“Owner is extremely responsive and helpful. Bedrooms are tastefully decorated, beds are comfy. Kitchen is well equiped. Air con is in lounge/dining area and one of the rooms. Would recommend.”
