“Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Good value & again great service throughout but with particular mention of lovely service……

“Lovely hotel with a gorgeous spa and big gym. My room was lonely, very big and clean, very comfortable bed. Gorgeous views and very quiet. Breakfast was very disappointing though, the coffee wasn’t great and overall the offering and quality of the food was pretty poor. Shame.”

“Really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return and actually make use of the facilities, we just didn't have the time. There were just a few minor feedback points that I hope are helpful. I don't drink coffee or caffeine and I used my own as the selection was limited. Also there was no milk option for coffee, in the room. “It’s the car parking that closes at 11pm - you have to pay for the car parking. There isn’t any sign anywhere to direct you to where you have to park. That is the only reason I won’t be going back - everything else was amazing. ”

“Hotel was perfectly situated, lovely staff. Our room was very basic and compact but was fine for our short trip. Decent price for location. Could have done with a shelf in the bathroom. Could be in the process of doing up rooms as downstairs looks lovely and modern. Would stay here again if I did another overnight stay in Paignton”
