“We loved our stay at The Charthouse, and are so glad we got the chance to visit and explore Torquay. The location is within walking distance of the beach, the town itself, and a picturesque path suitable for dog walks (Note: If you own a dog that doesn't like other dogs, this path may not be suitable, as there are a lot of other dogs, some off lead). Lisa & Christophe were great hosts - Lisa being a friendly welcome face each and every morning, and Christophe cooking a hearty full English……

“Fabulous adults only property with stunning spa facilities. Excellent food, reasonable bar prices and friendly staff. We did ask to move rooms and (loud dripping from drainpipes just outside the room which was very annoying given the pouring rain) this was accommodated immediately. Nice to park in the hotel grounds, but £15 per day is a little excessive, although appreciate it is secure and monitored. Heated towel rail in the bathroom is way too small to accommodate bath towels and spa towel,……

“Lovely luxury b&b in Torquay. Room had everything we needed and more. Breakfasts are ordered the night before to save on wastage which is understandable. Owners were lovely and available if needed as there isn't a front desk. Will definitely visit again when coming to Torquay.”

“A good value hotel in a great position. The breakfast is OK but would be better with better quality ingredients and more staff. Due to the lack of staff there was a long Queue which could have been avoided. Also more staff would mean food would have been stocked better. The quality of the sausages needs to be improved - even my dog turned up his nose. Take a look at Beefeater suppliers as my dog loves those!
