“It was nice. Several silverware and dishes were put in cabinets dirty. ”

“This location ended up being perfect for me and my 110 lb mastiff mix. The king size bed provided enough room for him to sprawl out. I brought my own blanket from home to lay over the bed. It’s a first level unit which was very convenient when taking multiple potty breaks throughout the day. It’s also an end unit so your part of the deck is private. I just moved one of the chairs to block it off but next time, I’ll probably bring a baby gate. The apartment was very clean and decorated very cute.……

“The property overall was great, the location right on the beach was perfect. The playground area was run down and rusted. I wish there were more basic amenities, like dishwashing detergent and more towels. We were a family of 7 and had to reuse towels all week, even with the main bathroom getting soaking wet because there wasn't a shower curtain. The other shower didn't have a shower head at all. Needs updates but otherwise it was a good house. ”

“Clean, peaceful, quiet, easy access to walk, bike, drive into Folly Beach. Only 20-25 minutes to Charleston, one night we even ride shared both ways, no issues. Will be back! Highly recommend this rental.”

“Beware the owners live next door and called the property manager on us due to my college daughter having her 3 roommates over for dinner one night. Was asked if we had more than 8 staying onsite all because they were eating dinner and it wasn’t even dark yet. Just very odd and intrusive ”

“This was my first stay on Folly. We chose it because it was close to Charleston and much more reasonable. It was perfect for this reason. We did go down to Folly Beach for dinner twice. It was great. If you like night life, there was a lot of that. It was walkable for anyone in shape.”

“Perfect location for a month-long stay. Very close to Center St and quick walk to the beach. The house had plenty of space and the property was much larger than I was expecting and felt very private. Coupled with a quiet street it was an overall very pleasant visit.”

“While the property location is great and the views and location can’t be beat, it kind of ends there. Access to the property is easy. However, once we got in there the couches are covered in stains, even the slipcovers were dirty, there is mold in every shower, the patio furniture that should be white looks like it’s never been cleaned and the daybed swing is covered in mold and mildew. For the price tag you’re paying, yes you’re getting location but it being clean and full of mold should also……

“We were thrilled to be able to quickly walk to the beach access point and back to the rental. It has an outdoor shower that's super helpful after a day at the beach. The rental was easy to access, comfortable and worked for our family of three. When we had a question, the rental property manager was quick to respond and addressed our needs fully. Would highly recommend for a beach getaway!”
