“Clean, very modest hotel along a road that is quite busy (noisy) during traffic time. Staff very kind and accommodating. On site coffee shop (Ticoffee) offers an interesting menu.”

“Great view, nice pool (infinity edge not working but not the end of the world) all rooms and amenities as described. Safe and secure area. Great access to 5 beaches from 5minutes away to 30minutes away. ”

“Absolutely loved the property! It was so key to have three bedrooms and three bathrooms, so our son and daughter didn't have to share. It was amazing having our own private pool which all of us enjoyed every day. We sat on the patio at night and listened to the waves and even grilled out one night. We had a fabulous view of the ocean and even saw monkeys below us in the trees. Thankfully we were told before we came that we should probably rent a car because there really isn't anything walkable……

“I would give this place a 4.5/5 out of 5. Carolina is an excellent host. The property is a bit older so the front door is difficult to open and close. Additionally the check-in process is a manual key even though there is a keypad on the lock, we arrived earlier than expected and had to wait for the host to meet us. Outside of that, absolutely fantastic. The view is unbelievable and it is stocked with everything you might need including beach chairs and a cooler. The AC works great as well. I……

“I've stayed at the Hotel Guanacaste for 15 years - the only times i have not is when they haven't had a room available- it's my preferred local. It's not a fancy place, but it suits my needs. It is very close to the bus stations and dining choices ”

“We wanted a relaxing vacation and this place worked perfectly. Got seamless transfers (hated that Monkey Road) to and from LIR. Easy to walk to the beach in Potrero, the market, brewery and some great restaurants, sodas and food carts. The condo was large and comfortable. The pool area and other guests (mostly kind Canadians) were great.Would recommend ”
