“Base Accommodation is well located in Dingle. That is good because parking during the day is quite the challenge. You can walk to numerous pubs, restaurants and shops. Rooms are large and airy. The interior is new and fresh. There is no restaurant with in the facility, but choices are about 100 yards away. Rooms on the street side can be warm. ”

“Perfect for travelling alone. I'm 6'5" and was comfortable in the twin bed but it was rather loud outside from the strest cleaning early in the morning (not from the pub) and being a bit hot I had to have the windows open. The pub downstairs was brilliant with the nicest people and great music. For the price, convenience, and comfortable for me for this sort of trip, I'd return for sure! ”

“It's a former military quarters slowly being converted into a rooming house. A work in progress. There is no included breakfast at present and it's a km or so to town and cafés, restaurants. There is off street parking, but only for about 5 cars with a bit of Tetris to get in and out. With all 14 rooms booked, parking on the street would be required. Yvonne, who was looking after the place when we stayed, was lovely and helpful with suggestions for where to eat and what to do. She let us keep……

“Lovely clean property in a quiet town close to lovely pubs. The staff was so nice and the breakfast was delicious especially the yogurt parfait with fruit and muesli. The stairway was a little difficult to navigate so be sure to ask for help as there is a door a few steps from the top. Be sure to visit the Roadside Tavern just around the corner for delicious"fancy" pub food and entertainment. ”

“We were met by Sylvia when we arrived. Allowed early check-in. She gave us great information on nearby walking/hiking trails & dining options. Parking onsite a plus. Accommodations were comfortable. Included breakfast which was delightful. Sylvia was a great host.”
