“This property is a treasure. We stumbled upon it as we were coming out of Maine late at night. It is a historic property with an antique elevator and metal keys for each room. The grounds are beautiful and the workers were hard at work to keep it up. There were signs of wear, but we were still impressed and expressed the desire to bring my mother-in-law who would definitely enjoy the historic aspect. The area around this property in NH is gorgeous. We will be back. I will say my 18 year old son……
“We had a room with balcony looking over mountains, it's a such a awesome future injoy freshest air and look at a natural beauty of a mountains ⛰️. I am definitely recommending it, also wish they would have extended balconies true that floor at list to have more rooms with that offer. ”
“This has been our favorite hotel of the Sunday River area. We went in August and they had the pool at probably 94F, easy to walk in and relax for a while. Each night they had a nice diy drink setup with instructions. Each night the outdoor fire place was going - one night was marshmallows to roast.. the other night full on smores. Internet was fast. The room clean and quiet. Beds were spring mattresses which were hard to get used to from home. Front desk guy was very friendly and……
“Charming and beautiful place. We stayed in the carriage house and absolutely loved it. Our suite exceeded our expectations. The only negative is that they do not have an elevator making the trek to the second floor with multiple suitcases a bit of a chore. ”
“Definitely make arrangements for food before arrival, whether grocery shopping or take out. This beautiful Inn is nestled far away from hustle and noise. All you are surrounded by is nature and beauty. Rooms are a bit dusty but comfortable. The staff are very accommodating and kind. We enjoyed our stay here. ”
“This is the second time we stayed at the Wildcat Inn. We ate in the tavern and played trivia, which was a lot of fun (the questions were challenging). We had a drink under the stars in the lovely garden in the back, and the staff supplied us with a nice warm blanket.
The atmosphere is very cozy, and the staff are all very friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer.”
