“The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I slept great. The location was perfect for walkability to all the tourist attractions, restaurants and shopping. The breakfast was very good - nice selections of different food. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again.”

“I have stayed at the Monte Carlo for over 20 years and they have always looked after my needs with great care and compassion. The hotel is set in a wonderful position in the town ( not the soulless hotel zone) overlooking the sea and mountains. It’s a period hotel, with tremendous charm with a pool on the roof at a certain price point. We visited in April 2024 and the staff were fabulous and the stay in Madeira a joy. The Monte Carlo is a period gem, but not a modern chain hotel. If you want a……

Overall very happy with the hotel and the small “parish” Jardim do Mar. super cute little town. Takes 15 mins to walk around the whole village. ”
