We were given a smaller room than we had asked for (images do not match the actual state of the room), and the air conditioner is broken; we were provided with fans but we do not have proper ventilation in our room, causing the room to be very hot and stuffy, and after taking a shower the room becomes very damp. The room was not big but absolutely suited us for a midweek overnight stay, comfortable bed, good powerful hot shower and tea/coffee making facilities for the morning. “Amazing position and views of the Tyne and the coast. We paid a little extra for sea views and spent hours enjoying them from our room. Very comfortable room and bed. Great choice at breakfast and evening meals offered good choice, quality and value. Staff very friendly and welcoming - we would love to return.”
