“This is a beautiful historic hotel that has been beautifully kept. The service is phenomenal! We really enjoyed our stay here. Just a note for anyone who has difficulty walking a bit of a distance: the north wing requires going up to the 2nd floor and walking through a skywalk to get to the newer section of the hotel. I only mention this because we tried helping an elderly couple find their room and the gentleman had a very difficult time walking the distance to get there and unfortunately it is……

“One evening we wanted to order at the cafe but no one was there for quite some time to take our order. Eventually a staff person came to help us and served us a drink in a dirty glass. Other than that, the hotel and staff were great. Spacious, clean, and quiet rooms. Close drive to Boulder. ”

“Everything was great, except for the toilet in my room, which took 5 minutes to stop refilling the water tank. The noise was disturbing. The front desk staff verified the issue around 2:00 am but couldn’t fix it, and no room change was available. I had to use the toilet three more times that early morning, which was particularly troublesome at night.
