“My first review of DoubleTree by Hilton in Durango was not very complementary. All but one of the issues I raised then were promptly addressed by hotel management and staff. However, when I checked out, my bill was $24.01 more than I'd been quoted by Expedia.com. Apparently, the new desk clerks charged me $12.00 per night for two night's parking which the manager told me they had agreed not to charge for parking after I had complained about that in my first review. “We got a condo room and it was great. We went during mud season because of smaller crowds. Many of the amenities were closed down, but there was no indication on the website or anywhere else that anything was closed. I assumed the standard amenities would be included, but only the pool and fitness center was open. The desk staff wasn’t very attentive, but the cleaning staff was amazing.”

“The facility was nice. However, there was highly limited dining as most places were closed and the hotel bar/restaurant wasn’t open. The gondola was also not in operation. There was a very noisy family that got placed above us which made our last night and morning not so pleasant. Outside of that, we enjoyed our stay and loved the premises and our surroundings.”
