“Property was beautiful and clean. The staff and food were wonderful. Had a great free breakfast each morning. The beds we extremely hard, but provided plenty of linen options to try and assist. Location was beautiful. Had a great day just explorijg Porto Moniz, then explored the Coast - each town was only a 20ish minute drive to the next, then an hour back. Enjoyed having this as our first exploring location.”

“The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Spotless clean and the grounds are lush and beautiful. The big down side is the main pool,the water is so very cold. Considering the size of this pool and how pretty it is, hardly anyone swam in it, due to the cold temperature. It's an terrific waste, just to sit around it and not be able to take a dip. Many people dipped a toe in, and then just walked away.”

“Quarto confortável e com uma vista ótima e um atendimento muito atencioso. Como o voo não permitia termos o pequeno almoço no hotel, disponibilizaram uns sacos com bastante comida, só falharam no facto de pedirem para escolher a opção pretendida e veio tudo igual, sem as nossas escolhas. Dificuldade em ter lugar para estacionar no hotel e nas redondezas. Pequeno almoço com alguma escolha, mas pouca fruta fresca. Hotel bem localizado e recomenda-se em custo vs benefício.”

“Nice place to stay outside of the hustle/bustle of Funchal, close to hikes. Construction on beachfront supposed to be done by early summer according to locals. Great restaurants, bar and bakery on the street for evening options, but a bit limited for longer stays. Hot tub was really nice set up, but had wildly ranging temperatures from 32 degrees Celsius to 47 at one point, so was often not really usable. Often opened our window as the room would get quite stuffy after a hot shower. Staff are……
