“We drove from Ojochal side and the Google map link took us through the right road side. We eventually did get there. We stayed in Toucan (3 bedroom). The communication was on point. The road is indeed unpaved and it takes us about 15 min. We did have a 4x4 but didn’t really need to use the function only when it rained. We did notice the adjoining bedrooms, we can hear each other’s conversation. We were 2 couples and had to decide which rooms would give us more privacy. The place was real nice……

“This is a lovely place, but I can't give it a great review because on the day we checked-in no one was available at the hotel to answer the phone. Answering the phone when you have guest traveling from out of country, and to a very remote location is standard basic custom service. For whatever reason we could not find our email confirmation the day we were scheduled to arrive and we called and called for 5 hours straight on a Saturday between 12noon-5pm and no one answered the phone. “Ok so I literally never leave hotel reviews but that changed after staying at Kura! First, I must inform you that it’s a trek to get there driving wise (have them come pick you up) but once you get there OMG! The ambiance is insane and they undoubtedly have the best view in Uvita! Hands down! It doesn’t even matter which room you get. If you are lucky enough to get the room with the shower with the view of the ocean I promise you, you won’t want to leave! We didn’t either! “Die Ecolodge ist schon toll, auch wenn das Areal, in dem die Lodges stehen, überall in USA auch stehen könnte, es ist dort "sehr aufgeräumt". Trotzdem ist der Aufenthalt etwas besonderes. Der angrenzende Regenwald ist riesig mit vielen Trails und einer Hängebrücke. Auch die Tiersichtungen während wir im Restaurant saßen, war wie im Kino, echt toll! Das Personal ist extrem freundlich. Wir wurden bei jeder Begegnung mit Namen angesprochen. Die Lodges lassen sich nicht abschließen, womit ich……

“Our stay at Tranquilo Lodge was an absolute dream. Sebastien and Christophe are the most amazing hosts. Sebastien helped us plan out the best 4-5 day itenerary and was always around to help with anything we needed during our stay. The grounds are beautiful and maintained well and the view from the pool is absolutely stunning. The serving staff Cristina and Alex were so friendly and attentive. “We stayed in the Superior Villa/Villa Agalla and the view was beautiful. The property felt secluded and we enjoyed our stay. This villa does need some maintenance, but overall a wonderful week. For example, the shower floor tiles are loose and will stick to to the bottom of your feet. We couldn't use the grill because it is charcoal but the bottom is burned out of it. There is no air conditioned common space, it is all open air. However, the bedrooms are air conditioned for a good nights……
