“I would stay at the Godfrey again. I felt very comfortable in my room. I did not see any bugs. The room was clean. It has some minor scratches/bruises/bumps on a few surfaces, but for the most part, it suited all of my needs. Drinking water being provided by the front desk was convenient. I was able to store my bags at the desk at check out until my afternoon flight. Walkable neighborhood, short rideshare ride to everywhere I needed. “I had a great experience at Ivy Boutique Hotel on a previous visit, but this time was a complete letdown. The heating was broken in freezing 0-degree Chicago weather, making the room unbearably cold. To make matters worse, there was no liner between the sheets, which felt unhygienic and uncomfortable. It’s clear that the quality has decreased significantly, and the attention to detail is lacking. For the price, I expected much better. Won’t be returning.”
