“Got what you paid for plus”

“I had booked two rooms for fellow travers and my husband and I. Only one was ready at 3:00, the other was not ready until 5:00. We got into our room and kept our friend's luggage in our room and walked around until we could all get checked in. Also, we couldn't pay for the room when we checked in because the system was down and they couldn't run our card. It was inconvenient and the desk staff (two different people) seemed unconcerned and not apologetic. These rooms were expensive, nearly……

“Love the Marshall House - convenient location and nice venue. The evening wine & cheese and delightful entertainment was really great. Breakfast was good, although we had to ask for a coffee refill. Our room was small but doable, especially with daily cleaning. Towels were luxurious. The king size bed was not the most comfortable but we didn’t mind. Valet Carlton was great as was our initial young man who helped us with luggage. Savannah was beautiful and we got nearly ideal weather……

“The apartments dial rooms are well equipped with higher and appliances, cosy furnishings and comfortable bedding the one bedroom suite I rented was beautiful and I wish I could’ve spent more time there. I will definitely go back.”

“Beautiful, clean historic hotel with wine and cheese in the evenings and polite, helpful staff. Valet parking is pricey (parking is costly in Savannah historic district) and our room caught all the street noise throughout the night. Bed and pillows could use an upgrade. Walkable to everything though!”
