“We had two adults, two teens and one very active dog. Guess who was NOT thrilled with the no-plumbing no-electricity situation?!? But that’s the point- reconnect with nature and slow down. We even got them off their phones for a while. (Although internet is strong! Totally remote workable) The island is beautiful and serene and clean. A great escape from the hustle and bustle of DC (where we live). We fished in the canoe, wandered around in the kayaks….. Our dog Archie roamed the island (he is……

“We had a lovely stay. The bed was very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and close to downtown Brunswick. The dishes that were provided allowed us to have a simple breakfast and to reheat leftovers. Little gifts left by our hostess were a nice treat. ”

“Nice comfortable property which is walkable via a pedestrian foot bridge to downtown Brunswick. First impression from the outside does not do it justice. Once you open the door it is an attractive single large open space with a seating dining area, kitchenette and comfy bed. We really liked it.”

“My wife and I spent some time here during our honeymoon and it surely made it a trip to remember. Everything about this experience was unique in its own regard and we left with plenty of awesome stories to tell. From the ferry to the furry welcoming committee, other kind guests we met staying on the island to the awesome and extremely helpful hosts, this was an incredible experience we recommend to anyone who enjoys the outdoors. Heck, we almost didn't want to write this review because we kind……
