“Had a lovely one night stay, comfortable room and very nice bar with very friendly staff and a resident Cat :) . Food was very good and fantastic breakfast options. They also have an observatory at the back of the hotel if you want to experience Dark Sky astronomy, unfortunately cloud cover on our stay but would certainly go back. ”

We only stayed one night here and we booked an evening meal as well as breakfast. The room was nicely decorated and had a large comfy bed with pillows that were soft and fresh. Our evening meal was enjoyable but we had to wait a while to get our food and drink order as there was some inexperienced……

“Location is amazing with the AD 122 bus stopping here or around the corner, depending on direction. Also around the corner is The Sill, with a Northumberland Park team of advisors who are excellent and can guide you in seeing Hadrian’s wall. The room was fine, though there is no rubber mat on their slippery shower floor. Having a brewery and pub right there is great and it’s a nice fun place. Breakfast is fabulous, though it is interesting that they preassign the tables. For some reason,……

“I wanted a low budget one night stay. Although property is old fashioned, my single room, with en suite was very clean and bed was comfortable The breakfast cerea,l yogurt etc was an unexpected bonus. Kettle, microwave and fridge in room. Member of staff on arrival friendly and helpful. I couldn’t get the tv to find any chanels, but not there long enough to enquire about it. Could do with a chair, but overall exactly what i wanted Thank you”
