“A great place to stay while in Boston, the hotel itself offers free breakfast which includes full breakfast and delicious meals in their French style restaurant, a lovely lobby to hangout and all day coffee/hot tea which becomes a great plus for the winter time in Boston. “The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave suggestions of places to see and go eat. The hotel is historic, so it’s old, but for its age, it’s in good condition and clean, but there’s an odd smell. If you are sensitive to smells, I am, it may give you a headache. “Bath room was not so clean, especially the walls around the tub; all the towers were so uncomfortable; But the most unacceptable thing is my room was on the 23rd floor, include "city view" which was more expensive than regular room, but there was a door connected my neighbors's room, which means if I open the door in my room, my neighbor opens his door, two rooms are been connected. “I and my husband came for the 128 Boston Marathon. My unit was in 41 St. Stephen Street. The location is very convenient with Symphony Station just round the corner. A short walk to Hynes Convention Centre and Marathon finish line. Whole Food Market is just 3 minutes walk and there are many nice restaurants around. Though in an old building, the unit appears recently renovated with marble kitchen table top, a big fridge, microwave, toaster and electric stove which is very efficient in cooking.……
