“I liked the antique vibe of the hotel, however I feel there are small details that can be improved on. We stayed in the Victorians room. The few hangers provided were old wire hangers that were bent. The small drawer in the bathroom had holes in it. The room was advertised with breakfast and there was no breakfast available. However, the bed was comfortable and the room size was bigger than average. The vanity was big enough to setup my workspace. The neighborhood had plenty of walkable shops……

“We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was well-appointed, with a large kitchen and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was a blessing since we visited during an extreme heat wave. Lovely yard and driveway parking. Great communication from the hosts. The best part was that it was just steps from downtown Benicia which is a wonderful place to walk, sightsee, shop, and dine. ”

“This was such a fun place to stay at, with settings all around the property to hangout. The patio area was especially great with various seating areas to enjoy outside. It would be ideal for a summer party place. The family enjoyed it!”

“The owner of this property should be removed from VRBO. She did not communicate with us at all until 5 hours after our check-in time, when she cancelled our reservation. When we tried to communicate with her to get the key she hung up on us. We ended up having to find our own accommodations for 9 people, including two small children, after 9pm. In addition, the fact that this house is now on the market for sale indicates that this person may not even own the property.”
