“The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. “This was a lovely retreat up in the mountains on the winding road to Spruce Knob. We enjoyed the grill and fire-pit very much! We were a little confused about the inverter for power which was off when we first arrived. My partner is familiar with the device and it was a simple push-button reset, but I wouldn't have been sure on my own.
