“This is a very beautiful, old style property, well kept and well cared for. At first we were worried about the check in process since we do not have internet while travelling, but it worked out well (it is provided by the property once you get there). They are constantly monitoring your needs and responding properly. We struggled with air conditioning, which was very high on a fairly cool day when we arrived, but the instructions worked out fine. Small bathroom, but there is an ante-bathroom……

“We loved our time at Hotel Salem! After the short awkwardness of pulling our suitcases down Essex Street (there is no street parking or driving on Essex), we were welcomed and treated very well. Our room was really cool—modern decor and nice hot shower water. Very clean and comfy bed with a nice view. Would definitely recommend!”
