“Genuinely surprised at how nice this hotel was. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with iron and ironing board, hairdryer, tea making facilities and Dove products in the bathroom. The excellent air conditioning was very much appreciated during the heatwave.”

“We stayed at Achill Guest House for one night before starting a canal boat trip from Alvechurch Marina. We appreciated that it is a family-run guest house with a funky charm one doesn’t find in a chain hotel, even if the walls are a little thin and we could hear our neighbors a little bit. Bed on the soft side but still slept well. Good location very close to a charming high street with Tudor era buildings, a pretty parish church and dining and breakfasting options (the bakery is fabulous). Very……
