“The Belfry is brilliantly well run. The staff are by far the best I've ever met in any hotel in my entire life. Truly brilliant. Friendly, engaging, funny, professional and confident. Proud of where they work and their part in it. Not unctuous just terrific. They should let the managers run the country. And before you dismiss my enthusiasm for the ramblings of someone who doesn't get out. I travel the world always staying at the best hotels. The Belfry was my third that week.”

“Nice hotel with spacious room on 4th floor. Restaurant was good for evening meal with salmon fillet. Camden Ale was nice although £7.20/pint. Good service and breakfast was nice. The bathroom has some mould on the silicone around the bath and a gap at the pivot of the shower screen which results in the floor becoming wet.”

The rooms are nice and clean.The decor is pleasant and rooms are bright. I found this hotel to be quiet. They have magnets on the hall doors that shut at night. It stops the noise. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. ”
