“My partner and I took a trip to New York City to celebrate my birthday. This was a great place to stay due to the cost being a third of the price of a hotel in Manhattan. It was a 40 minute commute to Manhattan, but went by quick since you just get on a bus and a train and relax while you travel. We felt like we were on top of the world, staying in the third floor of this home. But do be conscious walking up the wooden floors late at night as they are noisy and you don’t want to wake up the 2……

“The place was a great base for us when we visited family in NJ and NY. Super clean, very comfortable beds, and easy parking and check in. One bedroom and bathroom are in the basement, in case anyone in your party is mobility limited. The upstairs neighbors do make a little normal noise, sometimes later at night, so maybe bring earplugs if you are a very light sleeper. ”

“We loved the location and the owners of the house. The space was very spacious and the king sized bed was very comfortable. There was an air mattress in the closet which saved us from having to purchase one. The restroom and shower are good. The negatives are the steps going down if you are older, the TV only has Chromecast, so nothing to watch unless you have it on your phone, and you can hear some noise from the house above which was okay for us, but if you are looking for total silence keep……

“Overall this was a great property. Very clean and well decorated. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of space. Downfalls would be not much around within walking distance for food. Plus there was an extremely strong pot smell in the master bedroom. We think it was coming from the unit next door. Host was great to work with and was very prompt with communication. ”
