Comfortable room with lots of electricity plug in points for charging phones, computers etc which is a pleasing change. Lovely large shower with powerful rain hail. “We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site The location is also very convenient for Chester city centre and also to nearby Hoole village,……

“This is a hotel that is part of the services. The staff were fab & friendly. Other guests were a tad noisy & there didn't seem to be much sound proofing. I'd definitely recommend upgrading to anything other than a basic room, if there are two of you, our room was compact & bijou. Clean & tidy though I missed the fact you had to put a sign on your door if you wanted housekeeping to enter your room. ”

“Pleasant room in the centre of Chester. /it was a little noisy, but only what was to be expected on a Saturday night in a city centre! Bed was comfortable, and room was clean. There is only one minor concern: We were given one key, which opened the front door, the door to the room's entrance, and our room door. Does this mean others can also use their key to access other rooms? Not sure... There is a safe provided, so for this reason, I'd use it for any valuables left in the room! ”

“Absolutely loved our stay at the Grosvenor really welcoming and warm staff, lovely room with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. A stunning breakfast with really good choice. Can’t wait to go back and stay again.”

“Was only there for one evening, check in was easy, reception very friendly. Told them I’d be leaving at 6am, and they said because I had breakfast included they’d put together a take away box for me, which they did - great unexpected service.”

“First we love this hotel, been a few times and will continue to. There are some improvements that are needed. We had a duplex room at a ‘last minute’ discounted price. Toilet seat was broken, TV remote not fully working, shower and toilet area could do with a good refresh.”
