“Hotel is going through an ownership transition. I asked for a quiet room and was placed in a very quiet corner of the hotel. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was very good. Some areas looked tired, but as the hotel has recently changed ownership, I'll let that slide. Service was very good. Keep up the good work ”

“It might sound like a cliché and a bit over the top but I think this is one of the best hotels in the world. The location is great, ample parking, the location next to the river gives the hotel a great atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and the service matches, even when the restaurant is very busy. A nightcap after dinner on the terrace by the river on a warm summer evening! What more could you want? Highly recommended!”

“Enjoyed a weekend break at The White Buck. Beautiful building, Lovely bedroom, bar/restaurant offering breakfast/lunch and dinner. There are also events that take place throughout the year. The White Buck is located in Burley, in the New Forest, Hampshire. Ideally placed for both Hampshire/Dorset coastline, and lots of picturesque villages and towns for sightseeing. “Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.”
