“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the place. The bunk house had loads of cobwebs though and doesn't look like it has been used in a while so no one in our group wanted to use it. I just have an overall issue with the increased prices of VRBO's with the added fees. There is a company that managed this property and then VRBO's fees on top of that made it expensive. VRBO properties used to be comparable to nice hotels but now they are well above that. Hope that can change because we love……

They are, along with so many other factors -- the great location, the always spotless house, the comfortable beds, the privacy of the space, Cindy & Ed's incredible kindness and generosity -- the reason I stay here so often and am always eagerly awaiting my next time. As ever and always, highly recommended.”

“My first time in this area and I hope not our last. The house was as advertised and a perfect location. With the lake access this house would be absolutely perfect in the summer. The road access was a little challenging but manageable ”

“The property was extremely outdated and infested with bugs all over the windows and few crawlers on the floor. The AC was useless, barely cooling the room in the sweltering summer heat. The property manager was awful, telling us to find another hotel at our own expense when the power went out, leaving us without electricity, water, or working toilets. Do not stay here—if the power goes out, you're on your own with no backup generator, no support, and no basic amenities. Not recommended.”

“We had a fantastic week! The house is perfectly updated and spotless. It had all the amenities; we took advantage of the kayaks, fire pit (thanks for the wood!) and sitting on that perfect porch. Our hosts had even welcomed us with some lovely local beverages. 5 stars for this property and its owners.”
