“Room was very comfortable, staff are friendly, foods is excellent. But, it needs improvement in car park facilities, an additional staff for parking may be better at peak season.”

“The Inn was comfortable and there's a car park nearby. There's a pub at the ground floor and another one opposite the inn. A supermarket is about 100-200 feet away so it's quite convenient. You can reach southern Devon's costal attraction within an hour's (by car). A natural reserve is also very close.”

“Although we didn't get to meet our hostess, the owner/host and his staff were fantastic. The pub was cosy and clean and extremely reasonably priced and the service was amazing. Very pleasant and friendly people who genuinely cared about making our stay pleasurable. Absolutely recommend and should we find ourselves down that way again, we will most certainly stay here. “Stunning country castle style hotel. Rooms finished to a very high standard. Staff were wonderfully attentive, seemed genuinely pleased to help and proud of their establishment. Packed with history and a real oasis of peace and comfort. Afternoon tea and breakfast were delicious with a wide choice of options. “Gara Rock ist ein echter Kraftort – direkt an der Küste gelegen, absolut ruhig und abgeschieden mit einem atemberaubenden Blick. Die Lage ist spektakulär, perfekt zum Abschalten und Auftanken. Das gesamte Team war äußerst freundlich und hochmotiviert – der Service ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders begeistert hat mich die entspannte Massage – einfach himmlisch. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, sehr sauber und mit seinen hohen Decken wunderbar großzügig. Ein Ort, an den man definitiv zurückkehren……

“Staff were really helpful and kind. Room was immaculate, bathroom was spotless and linens were high-quality and pristine. Bed was comfy, and some nice touches like local treats and toiletries. The breakfast was really good quality and reasonably priced. Biggest downside is that the room was cramped— we were on a several-day trip, so it was hard to manage our large suitcases in the space. Would have also helped to have some more hooks or something to hang clothes and towels from. Overall, would……
