“This was a last minute stay since we did not plan on going to Outer Banks. The hotel was one of the few on the beach and located right as you enter Buxton. I chose this hotel because of prior reviews & happy that I did. The room was clean and comfortable and included a small kitchenette. There were a few eating places within walking distance & a very nice grocery store (Conner’s) a quick 3 min drive away ”

“Staff were great and attentive, and the rooms were really nice, especially for a renovated old motel! We only stayed here for two nights on our way south to Ocracoke with more family, but would absolutely stay longer. Great vibe with the live music Friday and Saturday. “In the 25 plus years I have been staying in OBX this place has had the most comfortable beds EVER! And I have been in motels, hotels, rental houses through companies as well as Vrbo and such. Walkable to the beach and restaurants were nice as well.”
