“The property is very well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. Daily housekeeping was excellent, fresh towels, clean linen, and swept floors. Restaurants are clean and the food is very good. The steak was tender and cooked well. The Italian was tasty with a nice atmosphere. The Mexican food was the best and we should have gone to that more than the other restaurants. I've been there twice now, and it has improved even from 2 years ago. It is challenging to find an all-inclusive that does not consistently try to upsell products and services, but Grand Velas does not do that.
