“Small 8 room boutique hotel on the Grand Canal about 150’ from the Rialto Bridge. Very “Venetian” in decor - lots of brocades, glass chandeliers, gold insets etc. We loved it. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Water taxis taken care of on arrival at the train station and departure to the airport. Very efficient. Upgraded to an extra large king bed which was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was served to order in a cute little room overlooking the Grand Canal. Would definitely return.”

“We spent 2 nights in the EGO residences Casanova room. Location is as central as it gets. Vaporetto stops 50m away. Very convenient. The room was very nicely renovated, clean and provided everything we needed. The couch pullout bed was a queen size and both beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was large with great water pressure in the shower. Nice large bath sheets, robes and slippers were provided along with complimentary bottled waters. “Hotel restaurant is fairly good, bar is great, especially the waiters and bartenders are in good energangy. Location is in the city center closed to ferry station. If you are in for shopping, this is also a good place to stay with all the luxury brands around. The only problem I have is the drainage system in the shower/bath tub. The water goes down very slowly, everytime I took shower, it will take 15 minutes till the wastewater to go down completely. I notified the front desk to send someone……

“Albergo San Marco was conveniently located close to San Marco with easy access to most locations within Venice. The room was spacious with minimal stairs on each level and a small elevator to access each level. Breakfast was good with extended hours which was nice when jetlegged! Highly recommend. ”
