“Friendly staff. The room was large, air-conditioned, regularly cleaned and had every amenity we needed. The hotel location was very picturesque, was surrounded by lots of good bars and restaurants and gave easy foot access to the rest of Venice. “A bit far from St Marco. Check-in process was great and the gentleman was very professional. All perfect except for checking out. I booked a pickup at the hotel and the lady insisted that I walked 10 min away over to the taxi port with heavy luggage to meet the driver there. How could I tell which driver and car? I ended up meeting the driver at the hotel but why did I have to fight for that? ”
