“Location itself is nice, considering everything we needed seemed to be within a 5-10 drive. If you’re looking for a place that is visually appealing this may not be the place as it is located in the back of an RV park. They also advertised room service but when we called to order we were told it was not available. The cafe is in walking distance so it wasn’t horrible. They do have security cameras in the parking and on the porch, that was comforting. Beds are a little stiff and pillows are hard,……

“Myself, husband, and 18 year old daughter were in town for TXST new student orientation. The home was neat and tidy. It’s best for two but we only needed the couch bed for one night as our daughter only stayed with us the night before orientation started.Location is super close to campus. You could walk if you don’t mind walking up a very steep hill. The welcome gift of wine and a 30 gift certificate to the Palmer Restaurant was much appreciated. (Side note the home is next to the restaurant……

“The house itself was very rustic.There were both good and bad. The bed downstairs was comfortable. The place itself looked clean until you moved a piece of furniture and found trash underneath the couch. The yard guys came and cut the grass on the 2nd morning, which was needed. Just something that should have been done beforehand.I can say the check out was easy and pain free. Where the property fell short was in the communication. The first day the toilet, bathroom sink as well as the kitchen……

“This is a perfect-off the beaten path getaway. It is close enough to the city to enjoy its conveniences but just far enough away to feel you’ve escaped. The house was eclectic and comfortable. We loved opening the doors and listening to the birds. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.”

“Beautiful property. Very clean, everything you need for a short or long stay. Only have two small complaints....sooooo dark. Once the sun goes down, it is so dark there. I would highly suggest some solar motion lights. The second is the washer and dryer. There is NOT a washer and dryer in the small guest house...you have to walk through the backyard of the main house and do around the corner and up the stairs to use the washer and dryer. Oh and also....they need to put shades or curtains……
