“We were fortunate enough to select this house for our stay/baby shower. It was the perfect place, not too big not too small, just right! The hosts were incredibly accomadating to our needs and very nice. We will most definitely be back, and we will be telling our friends about this littlw hidden gem! If youre ever in the area, this is the place to be. and ”

“We came to Canyon Lake for a wedding and this property was perfectly located to a lot of hot spots. It’s a cute spot. My only mild complaints were they could stand to replace the mattress (it’s very noisy and uncomfortable) and the shower pressure is extremely low. It made washing your hair quite difficult. ”

“From the horrible road to get to the property to the house not having internet (which we need for our business) or the water that smelled like sulphur, it was a big disappointment. The host Marilyn was very nice and communicated well, but the cottage is not worth the price they are asking. I couldn’t bathe, brush my teeth or even turn the water on because it smelled so bad. The property was cute but kind of dumpy and could use a deep clean. Won’t be going back.”

“There was a couple things that could have been better. The 2nd floor was mostly humid at night, my toddler sweat so much those 2 nights. Pots and pans were worn out and scratched, if i had know i would have brought our own kitchen utensils. The beds were quite uncomfortable our backs were hurting. At the end we were to come home.”

“Wife and I spent the weekend here for an anniversary getaway. Beautiful house, and a nice little cabin also available on the property for additional guests. The pool and hot tub were great options for relaxation, in addition to the bbq pit, fire pits, and multiple tables and chairs arranged around the quiet property. The back porch was perfect for romantic evenings, and there is a swing on the back edge of property partially overlooking canyon lake. The only down side i can think of was the lack……

“The stay was excellent, and the cabin was comfortable and homey. The cabin was stocked and clean, aside from nitpicking a bit of a dirty floor. Wanted for nothing more.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this property. My children were entertained with all the games upstairs and my husband and I had some peaceful relaxation on the porch enjoying nature and the many deer roaming the neighborhood. We found in the kitchen everything we needed for cooking meals as well. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place to getaway for quality family time and some rest and relaxation.”
