“The room is comfortable and perfect for one person. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station. However, a downside is the lack of a lift to the room, so light luggage is recommended. It would also be an improvement to have a desk and chair in the room.”
“Although only booked for one night, but I had a very good experience.The staff are very helpful, the location is convenience that is close to town and just next to Cathedral. I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Legacy Rose and Crown. The hotel staff at the front desk were really pleasant and helpful. Dinner was delicious with a lovely view of the river at sunset. Breakfast was quite good, with both hot and cold options, however the coffee could have been hotter. The location is a short, pretty walk from Salisbury Cathedral. ”
“I stayed whilst working in the area. I have to say I've stayed in fair nicer hotels for less money! The room was averagely clean, dust in the bathroom, no where to store wash bag other than the floor. The room was not replenished with tea/coffee one morning and dirty cups remained.
The breakfast was self service, no decent coffee (latte etc was charged as an extra) very basic again for the money.
Having said that, the location was fantastic but I just felt it was quite expensive for what……
