“My family stayed for two nights and everything was wonderful. Communication was excellent and the check-in instructions were thorough and easy to understand. The place was very clean and the bathroom was very nice. Good water pressure which seems like a small thing, but I have terrible water pressure at home so a really good shower while on vacation is a bonus! The beds were very comfortable, and despite the fact that I have sleep issues and usually wake up often, I slept surprisingly well.……

“Our stay at the Bed and Breakfast wasperfect! The room was immaculate and everything we needed was in there, including snacks! The bed was comfortable as well. But the star of the show is the breakfasts!! It was delicious and so much that we didn't have to eat until dinner!! The dock area was the best to hang out on and they let us use the kayaks.”

“There is no food. The bed is far too soft. The furniture is sized for a 12 year old. The AC is in the room and very loud. It also was installed incorrectly.”

“Unfortunately, we ran into a situation with a sick child and had to make a last-minute change of plans. We were well aware that this was inside of the typical timeframe where adjustments to our stay could be made, but the experience we had made us feel undervalued and ignored. There was a complete failure by the host to respond to any form of communication, including multiple phone calls/messages, texts and emails. What if we had been on site, dealing with an issue in our room/unit? The total……

It was twice as good at half the price of the motel we had stayed at the night before in another Northern Michigan city.”

The owners are incredibly welcoming and helpful making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. “THIS PLACE IS SUCH A GEM! There are a bunch of facilities including a hottub, sauna, cold plunge, mini golf, kayaking, biking, and corn hole. HOWEVER! It'll be hard leaving your fully stocked, temperature controlled, luxury room that had everything I couldve ever dreamed! From a stocked kitchen with a full fridge, stove, oven, dishwasher, and microwave to a flatscreen tv and a rain shower NOT TO MENTION the beautiful rooftop padio!!! Its the best place I've ever stayed, the sheriff's office is……

“Super cute and charming room! Felt way more homey than a standard motel. I absolutely loved the complimentary coffee and snacks in the shared cafe space. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I checked in really late, and they were really accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend if you're looking for a well above average motel stay!”
