“Unfortunately, we ran into a situation with a sick child and had to make a last-minute change of plans. We were well aware that this was inside of the typical timeframe where adjustments to our stay could be made, but the experience we had made us feel undervalued and ignored. There was a complete failure by the host to respond to any form of communication, including multiple phone calls/messages, texts and emails. What if we had been on site, dealing with an issue in our room/unit? The total……

“Our hotel room clean, quiet and comfortable ”

“Hosts were awesome and the food amazing. Needs updating and Christmas decorations were up in summer. If you don't like seeing taxidermy, this is not the place for you. Very beautiful and secluded surroundings. ”

“It was was a layover for work. Lication was convenient on my route. Had plenty of parking for the truck. The staff was pleasant & helpful. Not a 5 star hotel, but clean & basic for what i needed.”

“The only problem we had was no safety handles in the shower. As we have mobility issues and the tub sides are very tall. The Hand washing area was large making washing up very easy and comfortable. The man at check in was VERY helpful and kind.”

“Our room was comfortable for 2 adults and 3 children. The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The hotel seams a little dated, could use some upgrades. We were on a weeklong ski trip and this was only one of our stops, so we had to bring in a lot of items that we would need later due to the extremely cold temps. Although they have hand carts, the rooms are not all on the same level, so we had to stop and carry items to our room. Just an inconvenience. Overall We liked it.”

“The Garden room had very comfortable bed and pillows, and nice towels, a TV and small Fridge. View of river, with deck was nice. The building is old...older than it looks in pictures. Some of the furnishing in room looked pretty garage sale like. Room is small. Toilet is small and low. 2 sinks were nice, and standup shower, no bath. One thing that bothered me is that there was no sheet to protect touch from quilt. ”

“The hotel is very nice. Has some older features that are appealing. However, every morning there was a lot of noise, banging of pans, talking, and no soundproofing between rooms. We were close to the dining area and could hear breakfast being set up and every noise housekeeping made. It wasn't very restful. But rooms were clean, housekeeping in every day, pool and hot tub were nice. ”

“Terry was a perfect host! So easy to check in and out. Breakfast was continental with a lot of great options! Location was great for our weekend plans. The house was very charming. ”
