“My granddaughter and I stayed one night recently when we came to see Laura Ignalls birthplace. The tiny Alden house was perfect for us. It was clean, bed was comfortable and what I always like it had a ceiling fan.Chuck,Elan, Oscar and the chickens were great hosts. “Tiny was adorable and very clean. Nice little place to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. Awesome view to admire while drinking your morning coffee or having an evening beverage. Hosts were very responsive and professional. Perfect little cabin to crash after a day of riding the trails. We were able to hop on the trails a short distance from the cabin. Driveway is narrow and low (if the solar panels are in a certain position) especially if you have a big truck or trailer. The air……

“This is a great location for those looking to fish the Rush River and enjoy a beautiful setting. Check-in process was very simple. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. The only issue was that the listing indicated "sleeps six." However, there was one queen bed and one pull out queen. I spoke with the owner about this and he said it was a mistake in the listing.That's the only reason I didn't give full five stars for 'accuracy of online listing.' “ The campground itself is pretty basic, with cheek to jowl RVs. We stayed in cottage #1 and, on check in, everything seemed good. However, upon entering the cottage we could feel the floor sink several inches in the center of the cabin, as if the subfloor was going to disintegrate each time we stepped on it, so we parked our luggage rack over that spot to avoid stepping on it. There is one couch that seats two people and a large TV which worked OK, but only a few feet from the couch so too……

“What a lovely little home. My sister and I stayed here for a weekend away. We loved this little home, it was thoughtfully decorated, well labeled, easy to get to / get in / check out. We enjoyed hiking in the snow in the property and met a sweet pup. From here we drove just 5 minutes to the Omaha trail to have a lovely 5 mile hike. I was delighted by the coffee supply, and my sister by the mini-bar. Lovely linens, and kitchen supplies and immaculately clean. We're hoping to make this spot……

“Our family of five had a fantastic first trip to Door County, and a big part of that was thanks to this wonderful cottage. The owners were communicative, responsive, and a pleasure to work with. They’ve thoughtfully included so many family-friendly amenities—from baby gear (which we didn’t need this time), to pet supplies, board games, puzzles, video games, coolers, kayaks, bikes, and more. “Scott and Alexa have done an amazing job with this property--and were very gentle and welcoming hosts---a great place for couples or some friends to gather to relax.
