“We actually didn't get to spend a lot of time at this hotel, but we cannot recommend Andenes Inca and the staff enough. Here is why. First, we had to go to Aguas Calientes (without staying at this property) because our trip to Machu Picchu from Cusco was cancelled. They offered us a partial refund after knowing our situation. They took care of our luggages for 3 days when we were gone. Second, when the process of getting tickets was very difficult, they sent us encouraging messages to stay……
“Owners were wonderful. Very helpful. Room clean and simple. No luxuries. A 15 minute walk to the square. Way less noise here than staying closer to the center.”
“This property is tucked away in the cobblestone streets an easy 5 minute walk to the plaza. The two twin room was nice and there was hot-ish water and a hair dryer. The patio had the most wonderful view. We didn’t get to eat breakfast since we had an early tour. I appreciated that they had both purified and boiled water and a lot of it for guests so we could fill our water bottles before our trek. The only thing was our 3rd floor room, although quiet, was quite cold. Colder than the temperature……
“Excelente, muito limpo, local agradável e próximo do centro da cidade. Vou sugerir ao hotel que o café da manhã possa iniciar as 5 horas da manhã para ajudar a quem vai pegar o trem para Machu Picchu bem cedo.”
“Our experience at the Anido hotel was amazing! Yhami took great care of us!! We were able to check in early and the location was perfect. The patio was so lovely and the room was great for our 2 night stay. ”
“We stayed in the hanging glass capsule. What an adventure! However, safety was top priority. Views are amazing. Property is family owned and Eddy, one of the owners, was on site as well as offered zip lining or hiking. We were greeted with local drink then dinner and breakfast were delicious. The capsule has a jacuzzi with unreal views that we took advantage of! Capsule accommodates up to 4 people and is a unique experience Highly recommend for the adventure seeker. ”
“Staying at Stardome was a truly unforgettable experience. The property is absolutely stunning—surrounded by nature and designed with so much love. At night, the sky was crystal clear, and we spent hours stargazing in awe. Our room was cozy, unique, and beautifully integrated into the natural surroundings.
One of the highlights was their little farm—it added such charm to our stay. The alpacas were so beautiful and gentle, and we completely fell in love with the white bunny. It was peaceful,……
“This was a lovely boutique hotel with a beautiful view of the river and the mountains. Very accommodating staff with a nice breakfast and good information about the town and tour options. The manager took me on a private tour of the Sacred Valley and also woke up extra early to make me breakfast before my Machu Picchu visit. There was no heat in the room but there were plenty of warm blankets to keep you comfortable. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler and would highly recommend……
“The best part of the whole stay was the host, Leonardo. He took care of our needs, gave us recommendations about restaurants, and even had us a breakfast bag at 4:20 am! He was an amazing host! The room was clean, but there was some light coming from the shared spaces. ”
“The hotel is in good condition with a beautiful garden. I am sure this is one of the best hotels in Ollantaytambo. The room is very clean although on the small side. The host Alex is very nice and helpful. On the whole we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to everyone who comes to stay in this lovely Inka town.”
“Very kind and warm hosts. Fantastic location close to Plaza de Armas. The hosts allowed us to drop our bags off on our way to Machu Picchu with ease. ”
