“This property is tucked away in the cobblestone streets an easy 5 minute walk to the plaza. The two twin room was nice and there was hot-ish water and a hair dryer. The patio had the most wonderful view. We didn’t get to eat breakfast since we had an early tour. I appreciated that they had both purified and boiled water and a lot of it for guests so we could fill our water bottles before our trek. The only thing was our 3rd floor room, although quiet, was quite cold. Colder than the temperature……

“I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel. The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!! The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal……

“Hotel Luz Garden was such a joy! It is just minutes away from the Aguas Calientes train station (ex. Local, Inka Rail, Perú Rail) and also near Ministerio de Cultural office if you need to buy a last minute ticket to Macchu Picchu. The staff and hospitality at this hotel was AMAZING! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and they have a storage room for your luggage. The rooms were clean, had Inkan decor, and most importantly, heat! “Mi experiencia en el Qoya Palace fue excelente. La ubicación es perfecta, cerca de todo en Aguas Calientes y muy cómoda para quienes van a Machu Picchu.
