“This small hotel is in an absolutely perfect location, right at the heart of the historical centre of Chania. There were absolutely no problems with the self-service check-in, and the room was absolutely lovely, with some quaint features and a welcome drink and sweets. Finding a parking space close enough to the hotel can be a problem, but the manager had made some good suggestions about parking options, so ultimately that did not prove to be a massive deal. “My stay at the Malmo was perfect! From them organizing a taxi pick up at the airport to the ease of check-in, breakfast buffet, and the room itself, I couldn’t recommend more! The pictures of the room online looked exactly as it did in person. There were so many dining options near the hotel and a quick walk to the harbor, one of the local beaches, and many different activities. Whenever I come back to Chanai, I will be staying here! ”

“Our stay at The Tanneries was exceptional. The property is gorgeous and modern yet fitting the historical surroundings, the rooms are also very modern and lovely with immediate proximity/ views to the water. Most importantly the staff is wonderful. On the first day of my stay I got a massage, scrub and facial with Katarina and it was excellent. Then the next day the reception staff went out of their way to help when my colleague was not feeling well. I can’t say enough about The Tanneries……
