“Es war einfach wunderbar. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, grosses und gepflegtes Zimmer und Bad mit grosser Dusche. Sehr viel Ablagefläche im Bad und wohlriechende Pflegeprodukte. Das Doppelbett war sehr, sehr bequem und das Hotel sehr ruhig, so dass ich wunderbar schlief. Das Frühstück konnte am Vortag ausgewählt werden. Das „english breakfast“ wurde dann frisch zubereitet und war einfach wunderbar. Der junge Mann sehr zuvorkommend und sehr motiviert und freundlich. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen……

“The oak tree inn was a good choice for a one night stay. The drinks were nice and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was nice and clean. Tv remote was very slow and shower wasn't great. Bed was only a double and prefer king size but was fine for stop over stay”

“Beautiful hotel located a short walk from Durham city centre. Clean and spacious room. Fantastic Indian restaurant attached to the hotel. Bed was so comfortable! Staff were very efficient, nothing was a problem, very friendly.”

“Very clean, newly refurbished room (#14) with a very well stocked tea tray and good towels and bedding. On a Sunday night, there were limited eating options nearby, so we had a chinese and pizza takeaway in our room. The room was let down by needing just a little more maintenance - the desk chair was broken and the door handle was loose. Its also a noisy hotel because although other guests were just going about their normal business the sound seemed to really carry and echo through the corridor.……

“Not great for EV drivers as when you take the car to charge, you cannot return to the hotel to park. And the cleanliness in the bathroom prevented me from bathing my 3 year old.”

“Very clean and large comfortable bedroom and bathroom designed for wheelchairs access. A few things the handyman needs to address such as shower screen has become unattached at one end, the small curtain rail is loose so pulls through when you close curtains. Very good food which we had on all 3 nights. Outside really needs tidying and lets the accommodation and bar/bistro down. Lawn needs mowing and planters removed or replanted, paths and steps need weeding and sweeping.”

“I am going to celebrate my husband's wedding. The hotel is cosy and unique, it has a nice restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast during our stay, and a small library bar where you can chill with friends. The room is spacious and warm, we love this hotel.”
