“Beautiful property with lots of thoughtful touches - muffins and eggs. The patio area was a real delight as bird feeders brought feathered friends and a flock of Canada geese grazed in the nearby open area. Close to Longwood Gardens and Brandywine Creek State Park provided the ideal location.”

“With family visiting from Spain we decided to get away for the Easter week and we couldn’t have been happier with Pete’s wonderful property. Our son, nephews and pup loved the spacious outdoors for running and playing, and the basement was a games paradise. We all loved it, honestly. The entrance leads into a grandiose room yet still feels comfy and cozy with long couches wrapping each corner. It really is such a beautiful house, also clean and in great condition. Pete was so nice and on point……

We really enjoyed watching the birds eat at the feeder and the fire pit was perfect for the cool nights. Very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again when we return for a visit. “The place was initially hard to find, even though it was right in Rt 1. The house was very clean. It would have been helpful to know that it would be difficult for someone elderly or with physical limitations to navigate in and around the home. Lots of step ups and downs to get into different rooms. Uneven floors. It was rainy that weekend and the steps into the home were slippery. The house should be described as very rustic in the advertisement in VRBO. The downstairs bedroom was very drafty……
