“2nd time staying here. I would not stay anywhere else in Kennett Square. The house is so cute, clean and within walking distance of downtown. We were 4 adults attending a U Delaware graduation and it was an easy 25 minute beautiful drive to DE. IVANA is a stellar host. So responsive. We took a red eye fom AZ and arrived at PHL at 6 am. Ivana went out of her way to allow us to check in before noon! That never happens! We will be back!”

“Visiting Philadelphia with family and friends for a college athletic event. The house on Washington was a great find - close to all the events that we attended. The house was spacious - allowing everyone to have an area to gather as well as their own personal space. Lamar was very helpful - he gave us a short history of the home and made sure that we had access to him if we needed anything extra during our stay.”

“Downingtown Manor is perfectly located for a trip to the Brandywine/Longwood area of PA. The house is in charming Downingtown, with many terrific restaurants and pubs. Also surrounded by natural beauty, hikes, charming towns and country drives. The manor provides a relaxing and comfortable respite with a fabulous sunroom, including views over Brandywine Creek replete with bald eagles and gorgeous trees. “We were very pleased with the appearance of the property. The property was decorated very well and contained many amenities to make the visit more comfortable. We especially appreciated the quality of the bedding. We did experience a couple of minor glitches, but these were very quickly and effectively resolved by the owner. ”

“This property is in some bad shape and not ready for visitors. There were stains everywhere...the floors, the towels, the bedding, the walls, the ironing boards, even the iron itself. The flooring throughout this property is not level whatsoever. The cabinets are tilted forward from the walls. The door frames are skewed due to the poor renovation of the floors more than likely. The bathroom toilet is just a few inches from the bathtub wall which means you have to sit sideways when using the……

“The house was close to perfect. There were a few things we felt needed improvement. The open animal door to the basement was a concern since we didn’t have a clue what’s in the basement. The one bed room didn’t have a warm comforter and last there was hair cat hair on the floors in the kitchen. The house was beautiful and tastefully done. The barn is relaxing and beautiful. We do did have a great time.”
