“Medi, the chef, and his wife, Daniella, run the Inn and gave us both a warm, friendly welcome. The room was tidy and clean and we both had good night's sleeps even though the room was above the pub..I recommend Medi's Eggs Benedict which was fantastic and he also catered in the evening with great home made food - I had the best fish and chips I've had for many a year..I'd recommend the Sunday roast too which was awesome and over generous...and reasonably priced... Next time we're in the area……

“Fabulous boutique-feel hotel in the middle of Hexham opposite the park. Delightful staff and great bar that opens up on to the pavements. Good restaurant. ”

“As a hiker on the Hadrians Wall trail, this venue had everything; good food, good beer and a good drying room. After a wet walk this was most welcome. This place was very convenient on the Wall trail and would highly recommend. ”

“We had a fabulous 4 night stay at the Holly Bush. As soon as we stepped into the pub, we received a warm greeting from the new owners and staff. The pub is at the heart of the community and welcomes a mix of both locals and guests, which makes it a special place to stay. Everyone seems relaxed and happy to chat to each other which makes for a really pleasant atmosphere. The chef is excellent and cooks a variety of dishes which he constantly updates. We were so impressed that we ate there……
