“I can’t express enough how much I enjoyed my stay here. Besides the hotel being absolutely beautiful, I was blown away by how incredibly welcoming and accommodating the staff were. Breakfast was amazing every day, and they offered to cook me dinner every night as well. I could go on and on about it, but I will just say that you should absolutely stay here if you go to CR! The only thing I could see as an issue for some people is that the rooms are not air conditioned, so just be aware of that……

“Great location for restaurants and generally chilling out. The room was spacious with coffee facilities but no jug to boil water for tea. Unfortunately there was a distinct sewerage smell in the bathroom. Although the property advertises a shuttle service from/to the airport, no such service was on offer”

“Todo estuvo excelente, fuimos 17 personas y a todos nos gustó y no tuvimos inconvenientes. Lo único que encuentro un poco difícil es el estacionamiento. Teníamos 4 vehículos y el estacionamiento era muy limitado. Aún así, el personal fue muy amable y nos resolvieron. Definitivamente volveríamos. ”

“Our time at Bistol was very short, only 7 hours, but we were happy with the stay. Due to a flight delay, we didnt arive until after midnight, but i was able to contact them to mame arrangements, and we were me when our taxi pulled up. The room was very large, the shower was good, the beds comfortable. We had a tico breakfast made to order, and it was very good, and the staff very helpful. I would come again if ever I need a hotel close to the SJO airport.”

“Astonishingly architected building with a lovely restaurant and a serene pool. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Villa Margerita is an amazing cozy place to stay. The owner and the staff are super nice and make you feel welcomed. We spent one night in transition from SJO to the Arenal but ai would have spent more days just relaxing in the area. Defintely a 5 star!”
